What's that overhead?....It's a Vulture...It's a Vulture.The final day of AUG 2010 has arrived and VU are well placed today with 6 teams vying for medals, 4 of them gold.
Day 4 saw more great performances notably Daniel Pagnocollo who added a Bronze Medal in the Long Jump to the Triple Jump Silver he picked up earlier in the week.
Our very own Vic the Vulture team mascot was also in action yesterday entertaining the crowd at a number of venues and putting the VU athletics team through their paces at the Perth's new international standard stadium. Vic performed admirably with personal best efforts in shot put, steeple chase and long jump before retiring for the day with a strained wing.
