LET THE GAMES BEGIN

133 VU student-athletes will today begin a week long competition and celebration of sport at the Australian Universities Games event in Perth. The 2010 event, hosted by the University of WA, is expected to draw more than 5000 student athletes from around Australia and more than 300 officials. Events are scheduled from Monday to Friday this week at various venues across Perth with the major venue at the Challenge Sports Complex.
