The Australian Universities Games was officially opened last night. Almost all of Australia’s Universities were represented and team captains Jessica Fewster and Simon Peake proudly represented VU at the official Ceremony VIP function at the Perth town hall as scenes of the event were beamed to the Northbridge plazza live site.8 sports will be in action today and others have warm up days in preparation for their events later in the week. It’s all go at the Taekwondo venue …as today is the 1 day Taekwondo spectacular… and rumour has it that the VU Taekwondo team will be introducing the opposition to their friend pain… the team is expecting big things today with 6 gold medals in reach.
